My new haircut!
Yesterday I got a new haircut. I love it! Last week I joined a new Bible study class on Isaiah. It's a Kay Arthur precept study. Wonderful and deep. Today I think I am going to try a new meatloaf recipe.
A little "newness" in my life keeps it interesting.
Isn't that true for you? It is so comforting to have schedules and security, but mixing life up with a new challenge or new look adds joy to the comfort.
Do you think God likes "new?" I do.
Look at Isaiah 42: 9 "See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare;
before they spring into being I announce them to you."
I believe God is always up to something new. Besides giving us new challenges and joys, I bet you God is making new colors and new sights to see in the heavens. Just my opinion. :0)
And then there's spring. Ahhh... What a wonderful time to get outdoors and see new buds and new flowers and the new smell of earth and sweet scented nature. For the next four days, Denver is supposed to see weather in the 60's. Can't help but smile as I type that.
A new season is beginning. How can we not love it? Thank you Jesus!

I love your haircut. It makes you look younger.
New thing in my life? Well my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter have moved in with us. I would count that as a huge new. It is all going well. The only glitch we have is their dog making the adjustment but we are working on that too.
Personally I haven't done anything new but I need to. I'll think on what that should be.
Having your son and fam move in is huge, Diane! :0) What a blessing for them. You are such a quality person and I am so glad you're my friend! And we've been friends for a year or less? Nothing like a NEW friend! :0)
New... we just started going to church again, after years of sabatical due to lots and lots of bad things... I am so encouraged that every time I am in a class or service now, my heart is healed a little more and my spirit hears something that just bears total witness. I am LOVING learning about the things the bible REALLY says this time around. :-D I feel like I've finally come "home".
Hilary, what lovely words, girl! Churches are wonderful places to gather for worship, but I too, have been subjugated to some hurt by church members. I so pray and hope that your healing continues smoothly and that new joy in church starts flooding your heart.I miss you but I love keeping in contact thru' the internet. :0)
