This first picture is of John's wound in mid January, just a couple of weeks after the accident. It was pick and icky loooking....
This next picture is a picture of John's wound when it was officially infected. Yuck!
This is the wound after surgery. It's about an inch deep.
This is the wound today. Blood clot has formed below it. Hard to tell for me, but it is actually on the mend.
And this is a picture of the doctor's needle filled with 10 ccs of jelled blood clot that he drained today from the clot under John's wound.
And then John's leg healed and lived happily ever after....well it WILL in the future!

Very few injuries heal without a little infection it seems. Glad things are progressing. Praise the Lord that the brain injury didn't cause any personality changes, etc.
That looks way better than I imagined. Praying for a quick and speedy recovery.

Yuck! If I had to have a serious leg wound, I would vote for the January version - it had the fewest colors! Love to all three of you!
